Nikita developed a unified catalog creation feature for the ONDC-Official/automation-frontend repository, enabling scalable and domain-aware product catalog workflows. By refactoring the ItemDetails component to support a dynamic attributes object and introducing domain-specific attribute constants for fashion, grocery, health, and home, Nikita standardized metadata handling across multiple domains. The seller onboarding flow was enhanced to manage and submit these domain-specific attributes, reducing manual configuration and streamlining catalog activation. This work, implemented using React, TypeScript, and data modeling techniques, laid the foundation for extensible cross-domain analytics and improved the robustness of the product cataloging system within the application.
