Focused on backend development using Python, the work involved fixing the ParquetDataCatalog’s handling of Windows file paths by resolving them and converting to RFC3986-compliant URIs. This targeted bug fix improved the robustness of data processing across different environments, ensuring that Windows-style paths no longer caused inconsistencies or failures during data access. The approach demonstrated attention to detail in cross-environment data handling and contributed to more reliable backend operations, leveraging Python and data processing expertise to address platform-specific challenges.
