Worked on the blockscout/docs repository to enhance deployment flexibility and operational clarity by introducing two key features. Developed a configuration option for backend database event pool sizing, allowing separate tuning for indexer and API components and improving resource allocation across environments. Implemented proxy-aware API rate limiting by adding environment variables to accurately extract client IPs and recognize trusted proxies, aligning the system with modern deployment patterns. Updated Markdown-based documentation to reflect these changes, ensuring consistent configuration and easier adoption. Focused on configuration and documentation skills, the work addressed real-world deployment challenges and improved maintainability without introducing new bugs during the period.
