Worked on enhancing the build system for the emsec/hal repository by improving OpenMP detection on macOS, specifically targeting developers who use Homebrew. Focused on refining the CMake configuration, the work introduced a default Homebrew location check and improved the logic for identifying libomp and include directories. This update addressed a critical gap in cross-platform dependency management, ensuring that OpenMP is reliably detected and integrated during the build process on Apple systems. The changes, implemented entirely in CMake, contributed to smoother and more predictable builds for macOS users, with an emphasis on maintainability and developer experience rather than bug fixes.
