Worked on enhancing traceability within the wasmCloud ecosystem by implementing NATS client connection naming across all relevant components in the wasmCloud repository. Focused on updating the NATS connection setup logic to ensure that connection names are consistently propagated and maintained throughout various modules, which enables end-to-end observability and simplifies debugging processes. Utilized Rust for system programming tasks and leveraged expertise in networking and NATS to deliver this feature. The work addressed the need for improved manageability and traceability of client connections, laying the groundwork for more effective monitoring and troubleshooting in distributed systems built on wasmCloud.
