Over a two-month period, contributed to the docker/mcp-registry repository by developing and deploying the Ramparts MCP Security Scanner, a server component designed for comprehensive security analysis of MCP servers. The solution integrated YARA-based vulnerability scanning, static analysis, and optional LLM-powered enrichment, with custom branding to support product alignment. Leveraging skills in configuration management, DevOps, and security scanning, addressed deployment reliability by aligning CI/CD pipelines and Docker configuration, ensuring consistent builds and reducing misconfiguration risks. The work was implemented primarily in YAML, demonstrating a methodical approach to repository governance and deployment traceability while enabling scalable security analysis for future extensions.
