Worked on the github/github-mcp-server repository to enhance project item update flows by improving how item IDs are handled within the API. Focused on backend development using Go, the work delivered a feature that returns both the full database ID and a parseable item ID for project item updates, ensuring that IDs are consistently usable in update operations.
