Worked on the argoproj/argo-cd repository over a two-month period, focusing on security remediation and dependency management rather than feature development. Addressed critical vulnerabilities by upgrading indirect dependencies such as cross-spawn and Redoc, mitigating CVE-2024-21538 and CVE-2025-26791. Improved the project’s security posture by updating yarn.lock and refining jest.config.js to ensure stable test execution, particularly around CSS file mocking. Leveraged JavaScript and Jest configuration skills to maintain build reproducibility and reduce risk exposure. The work emphasized proactive supply-chain security and compliance, delivering value through risk reduction and maintenance of a stable, secure codebase without introducing new features.
