Nnko Gift developed an API token naming and management feature for the dhis2/user-profile-app repository, focusing on improving token governance and user experience. Using React, JavaScript, and the DHIS2 UI Library, Nnko introduced a token name field during API token generation and ensured token names are displayed in token lists. The implementation included validation logic and error handling to prevent duplicate token names, aligning the front-end experience with backend validation and localization requirements. This work enhanced data integrity and reduced user misconfiguration, demonstrating a thoughtful approach to front-end development and attention to both usability and technical consistency within the application.
