Worked on the mastra-ai/mastra repository to deliver real-time MCP HTTP notification streaming, enabling incremental updates as notifications arrive rather than waiting for the final response. Addressed a key latency issue by resolving a bug that previously delayed notifications until the end of processing, which improved data freshness for downstream systems and supported near real-time decision-making. The implementation leveraged TypeScript for backend development and focused on real-time data streaming techniques. This work demonstrated the ability to enhance backend streaming capabilities, resulting in faster alerting and response times for systems dependent on timely MCP notification data.
