Worked on enhancing the German localization for the Beingpax/VoiceInk repository, focusing on improving tone, terminology, and alignment with macOS UI conventions. Updated 112 localization strings, shifting from the formal "Sie" to the informal "du" and replacing longer terms like "benutzerdefiniert" with concise alternatives such as "eigen" to improve readability and user experience. Applied German language expertise and localization best practices, ensuring consistency and accuracy through native speaker review and thorough code review processes. The work addressed onboarding friction for German users, resulting in a more intuitive interface and higher satisfaction, while maintaining clear commit history and traceability throughout.
