Worked on refactoring the Otelmux example within the open-telemetry/opentelemetry-go-contrib repository to improve its testability and maintainability. The approach involved restructuring the example into a more modular and testable format, enabling deterministic testing and laying the foundation for future test automation. Deprecated example files were removed, and module metadata such as go.mod and go.sum were updated to reflect the new layout. This work focused on Go development, leveraging skills in Go Modules, refactoring, and testing. No major bugs were addressed during this period, but the changes enhanced CI reliability and prepared the codebase for more robust contributions.
