During December 2025, Norang Mangto enhanced the duckdb/duckdb-web repository by refining documentation for the rtrim, ltrim, and trim string functions. Focusing on technical writing and Markdown, Norang updated examples to accurately demonstrate the handling of leading and trailing whitespace as well as multi-character scenarios. The work involved synchronizing examples across all three functions to ensure consistency and clarity, addressing a display issue that previously affected multi-character strings. By improving the documentation rather than modifying core code, Norang contributed to better user onboarding and reduced support needs, demonstrating attention to detail and a strong grasp of documentation best practices.
