Worked on the microsoft/MicroHack repository to enhance policy assignment naming, focusing on improving user experience and deployment traceability. Introduced a dynamic naming system that incorporates resource group and attendee ID, enabling personalized and clear policy assignment names. Developed a display-name generation flow to streamline policy management and reduce onboarding friction for new deployments. Addressed issues with picture handling and the LabUser portion of policy names, while updating prerequisite variables to support the new naming conventions. Utilized Azure CLI, Bash scripting, and Markdown documentation to implement these changes, resulting in reduced naming ambiguity and improved maintainability for policy-as-code workflows.
