Tuomas Joronen enhanced policy assignment naming within the microsoft/MicroHack repository by introducing user-centric features that incorporate resource group context and dynamic attendee IDs, streamlining the display-name generation process for policy management. Using Azure CLI, Bash scripting, and Markdown documentation, Tuomas implemented these changes to improve naming clarity and deployment traceability, reducing errors and simplifying onboarding for new deployments. The work included targeted bug fixes related to picture handling and policy name components, as well as updates to prerequisite variables to support the new naming flow. These improvements strengthened maintainability and usability for policy-as-code workflows in MicroHack.
