Worked on the BearStudio/start-ui-web repository to refactor the Field Checkbox Group component’s tests for browser mode, focusing on improving reliability and maintainability in browser-based environments. Leveraged React and TypeScript to restructure the test suite, removing the axe accessibility check from the main test file and introducing browser utilities and configuration. This approach reduced flakiness in continuous integration pipelines and enabled faster feedback on UI changes. By utilizing Vitest for testing and Zod for validation, the work enhanced confidence in the component’s browser behavior and streamlined the process for future test development, contributing to a more robust frontend testing workflow.
