Contributed to the internationalization of the louislam/uptime-kuma repository by initiating Latvian language support, translating 99 out of 1,532 application strings using JSON through the Weblate platform. Focused on localization and translation, the work aimed to improve accessibility for Latvian-speaking users and broaden the application's reach. The approach involved systematically translating key interface elements and tracking progress to ensure consistency and coverage. This effort addressed language barriers, reduced potential support overhead, and laid the groundwork for continued expansion into additional languages. The contribution reflects early-stage progress in a larger internationalization initiative, with ongoing plans to complete and monitor translation growth.
