Nuno Matos developed an inline title editing auto-save feature for the audacity/audacity repository, focusing on improving the reliability of the editing workflow. Using QML and front end development skills, Nuno implemented logic to automatically persist title changes when the title field loses focus, addressing potential data loss and aligning the user experience with expected editing behaviors. The solution also included a fix to ensure clip renaming occurs correctly when unfocused during Edit mode, enhancing feedback and consistency. While the work was limited to a single feature over one month, it demonstrated thoughtful attention to UI/UX design and workflow stability.
