Worked on the significa/foundations repository to enhance the reliability and user experience of the calendar component within web forms. Addressed a recurring issue where unintended form submissions occurred by explicitly setting the button type for all interactive elements in the calendar UI. This targeted bug fix, implemented using React with JavaScript and TypeScript, improved the robustness and predictability of user interactions. The change reduced support incidents related to accidental submissions and streamlined workflows for users interacting with forms containing the calendar. The update also contributed to clearer code semantics and maintainability by enforcing explicit button definitions throughout the component’s interface.
