Worked on the Jingyong14/HPDP02 repository over a two-month period, focusing on data engineering and codebase organization. Delivered a centralized news articles dataset by designing the raw_news_data.csv schema and curating content to support analytics, search, and model training. Emphasized reproducible data curation and regular updates to expand dataset coverage. Additionally, standardized group folder naming conventions across the repository to ensure consistent file paths, improving maintainability and reducing potential path-related issues. Utilized skills in data collection, data management, and data entry, working primarily with CSV files. The work laid a foundation for future automation and streamlined downstream data workflows.
