During December 2025, Nutthawit focused on improving the reliability of the uutils/coreutils repository by addressing a specific bug in the build-gnu.sh script. He corrected the path guidance for executing fetch-gnu.sh, ensuring that GNU Coreutils downloads are placed in the intended directory and reducing setup friction for new contributors. Working primarily with shell scripting and adhering to established repository conventions, Nutthawit’s targeted fix minimized installation errors and enhanced the onboarding process. Although the work did not involve new feature development, it demonstrated careful attention to maintainability and user experience, delivering a low-risk, easily integrated solution within the project’s shell environment.
