Developed comprehensive Djot markup language support for the Zed editor within the zed-industries/extensions repository, focusing on enhancing the editing experience for Djot documents. Leveraged front end development skills and expertise in markup languages to implement syntax highlighting, bracket matching, indentation, outline features, and language injection for code blocks. Utilized Git for version control and extended the tree-sitter-djot parser with a WASI-compatible scanner to ensure robust language tooling. This work improved document readability and reduced editing errors, laying the groundwork for broader language support and faster onboarding of Djot users in the Zed extension ecosystem. No major bugs were reported.
