During July 2025, contributed to the automatisch/automatisch repository by delivering Parse Mode support for the Telegram bot’s send_message action. This feature enabled Markdown and HTML formatting in outgoing messages by integrating the parse_mode parameter into API requests, resulting in improved message readability and presentation for end users. The work involved backend development using Node.js and JavaScript, with a focus on robust API integration and clear parameter handling. Targeted tests and documentation updates were added to ensure maintainability and provide guidance for future development. The approach emphasized code quality, concise commit messages, and minimizing risk while enhancing the bot’s messaging capabilities.
