During June 2025, Oatavandi focused on expanding Tamil language support across the Jellyfin ecosystem, delivering full Tamil UI localization for the jellyfin/jellyfin repository and translating 559 strings for Jellyfin Android and Android TV. Their work centered on improving accessibility for Tamil-speaking users by leveraging Weblate for translation management and integrating internationalization (i18n) best practices. Oatavandi validated and documented the localization workflow, ensuring a scalable process for future locale additions. Using JSON and XML, they enhanced the translation pipeline and collaborated across repositories.
