Worked on the zed-industries/livekit-rust-sdks repository to enhance SIP call handling by implementing a blocking option in CreateSip, allowing synchronous SIP flow control and improving reliability for SIP participant creation. Addressed integration stability by fixing TwirpClient URL formatting, ensuring correct path resolution and reducing downstream failures during SIP flows. Collaborated on the release of these changes, demonstrating effective teamwork and attention to cross-team impact. Utilized Rust for backend development, applying knowledge of Twirp and SIP protocols to deliver observable improvements. The work focused on delivering business value through robust, maintainable code that increased reliability in real-time communication scenarios.
