Worked on the oven-sh/bun repository to deliver a comprehensive rebranding of EdgeDB to Gel, focusing on aligning the developer experience with the Gel ecosystem. The project involved updating documentation, guide structures, CLI commands, and npm package names, ensuring consistency across all references and installation methods. Using JavaScript and Markdown, the developer refreshed code examples, imports, and installation scripts, including the addition of a Homebrew installation option. All changes were cross-verified against official Gel documentation, resulting in clearer onboarding and reduced confusion for developers. The work demonstrated depth in CLI development, documentation practices, and npm package management within a collaborative workflow.
