Worked on the microsoft/playwright repository to improve test environment stability and reliability. Addressed a persistent issue in the continuous integration pipeline by correcting the import source for EventEmitter, ensuring it was imported from the 'events' module rather than 'stream'. This targeted bug fix eliminated a source of test failures, reducing flakiness and accelerating feedback cycles for the development team. Leveraged expertise in Node.js, TypeScript, and full stack development to implement and validate the solution. The work focused on backend test infrastructure, directly contributing to more consistent test outcomes and a smoother development process for the Playwright project.
