Worked on the zilliztech/claude-context repository to enhance backend file synchronization by introducing supported extensions filtering. Developed a feature in TypeScript that modified the FileSynchronizer to hash only files with approved extensions, ensuring unsupported files were excluded from the Merkle snapshot and minimizing unnecessary reindexing. Updated the constructor and initialization logic to dynamically accept and utilize the list of supported extensions, aligning the synchronization process with project requirements. This approach improved the consistency of Merkle snapshots and reduced the indexing surface. The work demonstrated a focused application of backend development principles and effective use of TypeScript for robust file management.
