Worked on the ogcio/govie-services-profile repository to enhance production deployment workflows by updating the CI/CD pipeline. Focused on aligning deployment processes with the production environment, the developer introduced a dedicated production environment configuration in YAML, renamed prd.yml to prod.yml, and updated deployment scripts accordingly. Service endpoints were revised to use services.gov.ie, ensuring that deployments target the correct production infrastructure and reducing configuration drift. Leveraging DevOps practices and CI/CD automation, the changes enabled a production-ready deployment flow. The work demonstrated a methodical approach to environment management, emphasizing maintainability and consistency in deployment processes using YAML and CI/CD tools.
