During November 2025, Oidq enhanced IPv6 networking capabilities in the owncloud/ocis repository, focusing on backend development and network programming using Go. Oidq improved IPv6 address handling and outbound IP retrieval, addressing edge cases in address interpolation to support more reliable deployments. To strengthen code quality, Oidq refactored host:port parsing tests into a table-driven format, expanding coverage across IPv4, IPv6, and localhost scenarios. This approach increased test coverage and streamlined future maintenance. The work addressed deployment readiness for IPv6 environments, reduced production risk, and ensured that the codebase remains robust and maintainable through comprehensive testing and targeted improvements.
