Worked on the salute-developers/plasma repository to deliver a design-token-driven enhancement for toast notifications, focusing on improving UI consistency and themability. Implemented visual differentiation for toast components by introducing a new shadow token and supporting positive, negative, and informational variations, which provided clearer user feedback and streamlined visual cues. Refined design token naming and updated Storybook configurations to align with the broader design system, facilitating easier theming and future component updates. Leveraged React for component development and utilized CSS and TypeScript to ensure scalable, maintainable front end code. The work reduced custom CSS needs and positioned the toast component for broader reuse.
