Worked on stabilizing query payload accuracy in the spatie/laravel-ray repository by refining how QueryException handling utilizes the database connection name when available. Focused on backend development and database management using PHP, the update targeted a specific bug that previously caused ambiguity in executed query payloads during debugging. By improving error handling, the change enhanced observability and traceability for Laravel-Ray users across different environments. The solution was implemented with minimal code changes, ensuring low risk while maintaining code quality. This work contributed to a more reliable debugging experience, directly addressing a documented issue and providing clear commit traceability for future reference.
