In April 2025, Olivas contributed backend modules to the SophiaMontenegro/CS4311_TRACE_Alpha_Spring2025 repository, developing a crawler, fuzzer, credential generator, and directory brute force tools to enhance security testing workflows. Using Python, FastAPI, and Pydantic, Olivas updated the credential generator to leverage a new LLM for improved password quality, stabilized the fuzzer, and standardized result storage across components for better data traceability. The work included repository hygiene improvements, unified startup processes, and frontend filtering enhancements. By addressing error handling and deployment readiness, Olivas delivered a robust, maintainable backend that supports reliable, end-to-end security and data processing pipelines.

April 2025: Key backend deliverables and stability enhancements for SophiaMontenegro/CS4311_TRACE_Alpha_Spring2025. Delivered the Team 7 backend module suite (crawler, fuzzer, credential generator, directory brute force) and related updates; updated the credential generator to use a different LLM; standardized backend result locations across crawler, fuzzer, DBF, and AI components; implemented repository hygiene improvements (gitignore, updated requirements) and unified the startup flow (main.py updated for Team 3 integration; run.py as the single runner). Addressed stability and data-handling issues: fixed crawler error and removed raw_html print noise, stabilized the fuzzer, improved ML-based password generation, and saved HTTP responses to raw_html with minor username fixes. Frontend filtering enhancements completed. These changes collectively improve end-to-end security testing workflow, pipeline reliability, data traceability, and deployment readiness.
