Oniice developed and integrated the Kiro IDE agent into the laravel/boost repository, focusing on enhancing BoostManager’s support for guidelines, skills, and MCP configurations. Using PHP and backend development skills, Oniice registered the new agent within the BoostManager agents map and updated unit tests to ensure proper recognition and operation. The work included adding frontmatter support to the Kiro steering file for improved metadata parsing and aligning configuration flows with project documentation. By clarifying guidelines and correcting HTTP MCP configuration, Oniice’s contributions improved developer onboarding, increased configuration reliability, and strengthened test coverage, demonstrating a thorough and methodical engineering approach.
