During April 2026, Oniria enhanced the French localization for the ElvUI user interface in the tukui-org/ElvUI repository. Focusing on internationalization and localization, Oniria updated the frFR locale to provide accurate translations for a wide range of UI elements and settings, directly improving the user experience for French-speaking players. The work involved careful attention to UI/UX design principles and a strong understanding of Lua, ensuring that translated strings integrated seamlessly with existing workflows. While no bugs were addressed during this period, the feature strengthened the project’s i18n foundation and prepared ElvUI for broader international adoption in future releases.
