
Worked on the Sports-To-Go/Frontend repository to deliver group chat enhancements focused on user personalization and transport modernization. Developed a theming system with predefined themes and introduced nickname support, allowing group members’ nicknames to appear in messages and member lists. Migrated chat transport from WebSocket to HTTP, implementing new endpoints for updating themes and nicknames, and refined message formatting and system messages to reflect these changes. Improved message loading and group data handling for greater reliability and maintainability. Utilized React, TypeScript, and the Context API to build these features, emphasizing UI/UX development and seamless integration with Firebase for data management.
