Worked on enhancing data quality within the ONSdigital/explore-local-statistics-data repository by correcting and updating the Northern Ireland level 3+ qualifications dataset for individuals aged 16-64. Focused on data cleaning and data management, the work involved identifying and fixing incorrect entries, integrating 2023 data, and ensuring metadata alignment through updates to the JSON schema. Utilized CSV for data manipulation and maintained schema consistency to support accurate downstream analytics and reporting. The targeted bug fix improved the reliability and clarity of NI metrics, contributing to more trustworthy dashboards and reports for users relying on up-to-date local statistics data.
