Worked on enhancing multi-cluster monitoring capabilities by delivering Etcd Dashboard Multicluster Support and Cluster Identifier Handling in the prometheus-community/helm-charts repository. Focused on updating Grafana dashboard JSON to support both single-cluster and multi-cluster Prometheus deployments, the work introduced a sentinel value for cluster identification to reduce ambiguity and prevent misconfiguration. Leveraged skills in DevOps, Kubernetes, and monitoring, and utilized Python and YAML to implement these changes. This feature improved the accuracy and usability of metrics for operators managing multiple clusters, ensuring that Grafana dashboards correctly reflect cluster-specific data and streamline monitoring workflows in complex Kubernetes environments.
