Worked on the CachyOS-PKGBUILDS repository to enhance boot branding and package integrity for CachyOS systems. Delivered a targeted feature that updated the systemd-boot-manager, ensuring the CachyOS name is correctly stylized in boot entry titles for improved clarity and brand consistency. The implementation involved shell scripting and system administration skills, with updates to package version references and SHA512 checksums to maintain accurate integrity verification. All changes were linked to a specific issue for traceability, supporting audit requirements. This work addressed potential risks of misdisplay and checksum mismatches, contributing to a more reliable and cohesive boot experience for users.
