Worked on the reactos/reactos repository to address a reliability issue in the Win32 Shell Browser’s backspace navigation. Focused on Shell Development and UI Development using C++ and the Windows API, the solution validated travel entries before executing GoBack or GoForward actions, ensuring stable navigation. The OnBackspace logic was updated to prioritize GoBack, with a fallback to GoForward for compatibility with older Windows versions, allowing users to navigate to the parent directory as expected. This targeted bug fix improved alignment with modern Windows navigation standards and reduced edge-case failures, enhancing the overall user experience without introducing new features during the period.
