Worked on the Temporal project, focusing on backend development in Go to address consistency issues in the dynamic rate limiter. Delivered a fix in the temporalio/temporal repository that ensures the Rate and Burst methods now invoke maybeRefresh to provide up-to-date values, aligning getter behavior with token-operation refresh logic. This approach included comprehensive Go test coverage for both refresh intervals and race conditions, reducing the risk of stale readings. The update improves the reliability and predictability of rate limiting by ensuring quota enforcement and concurrency control remain consistent, ultimately enhancing the user experience for systems relying on dynamic rate adjustments.
