Worked on backend systems with a focus on Go and Kubernetes, delivering targeted improvements across two major repositories. In elastic/cloud-on-k8s, completed a comprehensive module path upgrade from v2 to v3, updating all module and import references to align with new versioning standards and streamline future development. In open-telemetry/opentelemetry-collector-contrib, addressed a nil-pointer crash in Bbolt database compaction by refining error handling and ensuring safer database reopen logic. Enhanced code reliability through improved error paths and added tests to validate storage resilience. Demonstrated strengths in module management, database management, and robust error handling within complex distributed systems environments.
