Eliya developed an OAuth 2.0 Protected Resource Metadata Endpoint for the modelcontextprotocol/go-sdk repository, focusing on enhancing interoperability and discoverability for API clients. The implementation, written in Go, included built-in CORS support to facilitate secure cross-origin requests and adhered to RFC 9728 §3.1 for standards-compliant resource discovery. Eliya also provided comprehensive documentation and practical examples for customizing CORS policies, supporting both rs/cors and jub0bs/cors libraries. No major bugs were addressed during this period, as the work centered on delivering this new backend capability. The project leveraged Eliya’s expertise in API development, OAuth 2.0, and backend engineering.
