Developed and delivered two features focused on enhancing deployment flexibility for TavilyTools across the phidatahq/phidata and agno-agi/agno-docs repositories. Introduced support for a configurable API base URL, enabling users to specify self-hosted or alternative Tavily API endpoints while maintaining backward compatibility. The implementation involved Python for core logic, unit testing to ensure reliability, and comprehensive updates to Markdown documentation for clear user guidance. All changes were validated through formatting, self-review, and updated examples, ensuring consistency across code and documentation. No bugs were fixed during this period, with efforts concentrated on robust feature delivery and maintainability through technical writing.
