During the month, contributed to the mui-x repository by addressing a stability issue in the chart component’s highlight state transition. Focused on front end development using React and TypeScript, the work involved fixing a crash that occurred when switching the highlighted chart item from a controlled to an uncontrolled state. Instead of allowing the application to crash, the solution now issues a warning, improving the resilience of interactive charts and reducing user-facing errors. The fix was carefully isolated to the charts module, minimizing the risk of regressions and enhancing the reliability of the charting API for dynamic data scenarios.
