Over a two-month period, Opadovani developed and refined the garak-report frontend for the NVIDIA/garak repository, focusing on data visualization and UI/UX improvements using React, TypeScript, and JavaScript. They implemented the Kaizen design system, enhanced detector analysis workflows, and improved data integrity and reporting reliability. Their work included aligning UI elements with source data, introducing prompt count visibility, and refining module filtering with color-coded labels and tooltips. Opadovani also expanded automated UI testing, added unit tests for key components, and addressed security vulnerabilities through dependency upgrades. These efforts resulted in a more maintainable, secure, and user-friendly reporting interface.

February 2026 (NVIDIA/garak) – Focused on strengthening reliability and security through expanded UI testing and proactive dependency remediation. Delivered expanded testing coverage for UI components and module filtering, including mocks for KUI components and updated test assertions, plus new unit tests for DetectorChartHeader, DetectorFilters, ErrorBoundary, and ProbesChart module filtering. Addressed security CVEs by upgrading tar and glob in package.json, improving the security posture of the application. These efforts reduce release risk, boost maintainability, and demonstrate solid command of testing, dependency management, and UI quality assurance. Technologies/skills demonstrated include JavaScript/TypeScript testing, unit test design, test mocks, UI testing, and security vulnerability remediation.
