Worked on enhancing accessibility in the Verdaccio project by improving the color contrast of the header WATCH button. Addressed readability concerns by introducing a dedicated CSS class, ensuring the button met accessibility standards across different themes and devices. The solution was implemented using SCSS for styling and TypeScript for front-end integration, focusing on compliance with WCAG-like contrast guidelines. All changes were committed directly to the verdaccio/verdaccio repository, with thorough validation and documentation to support future accessibility improvements. This targeted update reduced accessibility risk and contributed to a more inclusive user experience, reflecting a methodical approach to front-end development and accessibility.
