Owen Correia developed automated account creation validation tests for the ArchaeoVault/ArchaeoVault repository, focusing on improving the reliability of user onboarding. Using Python, Selenium, and unit testing frameworks, Owen designed comprehensive test cases to cover scenarios such as valid and invalid email inputs, password length and complexity, name length, duplicate email detection, and mismatched passwords. This work targeted edge-case coverage and robust validation logic, directly supporting user story #17. By increasing test coverage for critical onboarding flows, Owen’s contribution reduced potential post-release support issues and enabled faster, safer release cycles, demonstrating depth in web automation and thoughtful test design.
