Worked on the AFLplusplus/LibAFL repository to enhance macOS build stability and streamline dependency management. Focused on resolving a persistent build issue affecting libpng and libfuzzer_examples by updating libpng and zlib versions, addressing redefinition of fopen, and fixing a test-only failure related to feenableexcept. Leveraged Shell scripting and build system expertise to introduce a variable-based approach for version extraction, simplifying future updates and reducing maintenance overhead. These improvements enabled successful compilation and execution of libfuzzer_libpng examples on macOS, improved cross-platform reliability, reduced CI noise, and accelerated onboarding for macOS developers, demonstrating depth in cross-platform development and dependency management.
