Developed and integrated a new Bioconda packaging recipe for the siren-rnai tool within the bioconda-recipes repository, focusing on robust installation and maintainability. The work involved defining precise build dependencies and test entry points using YAML and Python, ensuring the package met Bioconda standards for reliability. Collaborated closely with a co-author to refine the recipe, addressing mandatory run_exports requirements and improving the overall packaging process. This contribution enhanced the quality and consistency of bioinformatics software distribution in the Bioconda ecosystem, demonstrating attention to detail in package management and a methodical approach to open-source collaboration and technical review.
