Developed South America region authentication support for the up42-py repository, enabling users to authenticate and route API calls through regional servers for improved latency and reliability. Focused on backend development and API integration, the work involved updating authentication, user information, and general endpoint URLs to support a global region configuration, allowing the 'sa' region to be set and applied across the SDK. Leveraging Python for SDK development and REST API integration, the implementation streamlined multi-region deployments and enhanced regional routing. The approach emphasized region-aware configuration and thorough testing, with all changes tracked via commit-based traceability and linked to feature branches.
